What Your Giving Actually Does

You deserve a plain answer about where your gift goes, without the glossy photos and the rounded-up numbers.

You have given to enough things over the years to know the quiet question that comes after. Where did it actually go?

You deserve a plain answer, so we will give you ours, without the glossy photos and the rounded-up numbers. When you give to this work, your gift does one main thing: it puts a book into a language and a home that did not have it, and then it gives that book away for free.

The whole thing holds together like this. Translation costs money. A careful edition in a heart language takes real hours from real people helping us perfect our translation system. Your gift covers that work. Then the finished book goes out at no cost to the family who receives it, because the person at the end of this is often someone who could never pay. Those who can give, do, and their giving opens the door for those who cannot. No one is shamed at an empty wallet. No one is turned away.

We keep the operating side lean on purpose. Cornerstone International carries the overhead so that your gift stays pointed at the field, at the translating and the giving-away, not at the machinery. When we can tell you exactly which language your gift helped reach, we will.

None of this is a new idea. It is close to how the Kingdom has always worked.

“Freely you have received; freely give.” (Matthew 10:8, BSB)

We did not earn the grace we were handed. It came to us free, and now we get to pass it on. Every gift turns into a book, and every book turns into a lamp lit in one more window that has sat dark too long.

If you would like to be part of that, you can give, and you will know it went to the field and not to a brochure. And if giving is not where you are right now, your prayers carry just as far. Either way, thank you for caring about the family at the end of this, the one you will help reach and probably never meet.
